Refund policy

At Smul, we want you to be happy with your order. If something is not right, please contact us and we’ll do our best to make it right.

1. 30-Day Return and Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day return and refund policy. This means you have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in its original packaging and in the same general condition that you received it. Items may be opened, but they must not be heavily used, damaged, altered, or missing major components.

To start a return, please contact us at support@smul.ca with your order number and reason for the return.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

2. Return Shipping

Once your return request is approved, we will provide the return shipping address and return instructions.

If your item arrived damaged, defective, leaking, or incorrect, Smul will cover the cost of return shipping.

For all other approved returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated by our support team.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

3. Damages, Defects, and Wrong Items

Please inspect your order when it arrives.

If your item is defective, damaged, leaking, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately at support@smul.ca with your order number and photos of the issue.

Once reviewed, we will work with you to make it right. Depending on the situation, this may include a replacement, exchange, store credit, partial refund, or refund.

4. Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the item you have. Once your return is accepted, you can place a separate order for the new item.

If your exchange is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us first so we can review the issue.

5. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be issued automatically to your original payment method.

Please note that it may take several business days for your bank, credit card company, or payment provider to process and post the refund.

6. Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items may not be eligible for return or refund:

  • Items returned after 30 days
  • Items that are heavily used, damaged, or altered after delivery
  • Items missing original packaging or major components
  • Custom or wholesale orders, unless defective or incorrect
  • Gift cards or final sale items, if applicable
